After three months of brainstorming, determination, and refinement, Enactus-UPEI, a club dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship, successfully developed a potato soap called Spuds2Suds.
In Sinaloa, potatoes suffered a significant decline in price as a result of excess production. However, for agricultural companies in Cajeme, the situation has flowed well, trading with clients in other states.
A national survey by the practice centres shows that both in Flanders and in Wallonia the area of consumption potatoes increases by 6% or almost 6,000 ha to a total of over 106,000 ha.
After several years of drought and decline in both surface area and production, 2025 is expected to be quite satisfactory for the harvests thanks to the rain and suitable temperatures.

Two German research institutes and Wageningen University & Research (WUR) examined the genetic composition of potatoes. The genetic basis for the sources is indeed narrow, but the differences at chromosome level appear to be very large.
The potato market is in a downward slide, as the various quotations show. The most remarkable in that respect is the Belgapom, which did not put a price on the board at all.
The event will take place at the Hacienda de Santa Cruz in the Seville municipality, where the current situation of the sector, the markets and various agronomic issues will be analyzed.
