Brazil: Potato prices remain stable at all wholesalers
The dry season crops are already beginning to be harvested.
This week, the price of the Agata specialty potato remained stable at wholesalers in all regions, at R$94/25 kg bag in São Paulo (SP), R$86/bag in Belo Horizonte/MG, and R$88/bag in Rio de Janeiro/RJ.
Although the rainy season is coming to an end, with lower productivity, some producers are already entering the dry season.
Furthermore, in Chapada Diamantina (BA), the harvest pace remains strong, and producers take advantage of the opportunity to sell potatoes at this time of year when prices are highest.
