BOLOGNA POTATO BAG: SECOND ADVANCE PAYMENT TO PRODUCERS ESTABLISHED

With reference to art. 8 of the current Framework Agreement , the Joint Commission, in light of the market trend in the current marketing campaign, has intended to confirm the reference price of 0.50 euros per kg for top quality potatoes, Global Gap, size 45-75, delivered on a previously established storage account.

In compliance with the provisions of the meeting of 6 November 2024, after a careful analysis of the commercial trend at national and international level, the members of the Joint Commission of the Potato Exchange have defined the value of the second advance payment by setting it at 0.20 euros per kg. Taking into account that the framework contract provides that the value to be applied for the two advance payments provided for is at least equal to 80% of the reference price, the total amount to be paid between the first and second advance payments is set at 0.40 euros per kg.

For the purposes of fulfilling the obligations set out in the current Framework Agreement, the price of the following is also established:

Flat (caliber 40 -) at 0.03 euros per kg.;

Fiorone (Calibre 75 +) at 0.03 euros per kg;

In the same session, the Joint Commission, taking into account the production delivered and the market trend, defined the price of potatoes of size 40-45, the value of which was set at 0.20 euros per kg. It also decided to apply a reduction of 0.03 euros per kg to those agricultural companies that deliver top quality potatoes that are not certified by Global Gap Grasp.
