Germany: PotatoEurope 2026 with the latest developments in potato cultivation
PotatoEurope 2026 returns to Germany on 9 and 10 September 2026, at the Rittergut Gestorf 1 farm in Springe, near Hanover.

PotatoEurope 2026 is the international meeting point for potato growers, processors, and traders from Germany and abroad. After four years, the event returns to Germany as planned and will be held for the first time at the Rittergut Gestorf 1 farm in Springe, near Hanover, on September 9 and 10, 2026. At this open-air trade fair, numerous exhibitors will once again present the latest innovations in cultivation, fertilization, crop protection products, agricultural technology, and processing. The German Potato Industry Association (UNIKA) is also participating as a conceptual partner and event promoter. Furthermore, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) is expanding its trade fair offering, as the SugarBeet Expo will celebrate its premiere at the same time as PotatoEurope 2026.
Leading international companies in the fields of cultivation, crop protection, digitalization, and technology will present their latest developments and cutting-edge solutions. Special emphasis will be placed on topics such as sustainable production and climate protection, smart agriculture and digital applications, as well as innovative processing technologies.
This offers producers and companies in the production and distribution sectors a platform along the entire value chain where they can obtain information on current topics related to modern potato production and processing. Test plots, demonstrations of machinery for planting, harvesting, and loading under real-life conditions, as well as informational events, specialized conferences, and expert talks complete the technical program.
