Bolivia (Achacachi): The municipality has two new silos for storing potato seeds.
Achacachi silos will store 300 tons of potato seeds and benefit more than 600 families.

The municipality of Achacachi has two new seed potato storage silos since Friday, which will directly benefit 605 producing families.
President Luis Arce handed over the works, which required an investment of Bs 4 million and were executed by the Decentralized Public Institution (IPDSA), dependent on the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands (MDRyT).
The head of state emphasized the importance of strengthening food production in the country, highlighting the government’s commitment to promoting public policies that favor the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
He also emphasized the need to continue working together to guarantee food security and the well-being of the Bolivian population.
The silos delivered will allow for the storage of 300 tons of seed potatoes, equivalent to 3,000 50-kg bags. These will be stored in facilities designed to preserve and protect their crops, avoiding losses due to poor storage or adverse weather conditions.
This investment strengthens and promotes seed potato production, improving storage conditions through the incorporation of new technologies that will increase yields and production volumes in the communities of Murumamani and Chococopa Chico.
